Self-Love Gifts to Give Yourself

It’s February (finally) and it’s the unofficial month of love.

With Valentine’s Day around the corner, it’s a great reminder to treat yourself to a little self-love. I think when you become a mom it’s really challenging to find room to love yourself. You are pouring so much into your sweet babes and what little is left into your partner or work - or anything else that is left in your world. On top of that, it can be challenging to love your new mom body. In many ways I look at myself and know I am different and that’s a beautiful thing, but it can lead to playing the comparison game.

Point is….mama, you have to make room to love yourself. Because if you don’t, it will be hard to share love to everyone else.

I am using this month as a reminder to pour into my own cup.

Whether that is scheduling a workout class and not cancelling it because I KNOW it will feel great to move my body or buying a new pair of silky pajamas because it’s that little luxury before bedtime that makes me feel like I have my life together.
