Best Amazon Finds Under $25

If you follow me on Instagram, (@thekathrynelise), I recently did a poll to see what your favorite Amazon finds under $25 are. You guys sent in SO many great ideas and I also wanted to include some of the items I also have recently bought and love. When to comes to Amazon shopping, we buy a lot of our daily household items, things for Ford and random finds. Tips for Planning Family Photos

I didn’t truly see the value in planning family photos until we had Ford. Now, time seems to go so fast and he’s constantly growing and changing which makes me want to capture every stage. I knew without a doubt that we would do family photos this fall to capture this time and to include for holiday cards! Truthfully, I didn’t send out holiday cards last year but am making it a priority this year. I thought I would share my planning tips and some advice to make your session go smoothly. Of course, I highly suggest working with a photographer that you can trust to execute your vision. I ended up going with a new photographer in KC this year and was blown away by the results! Halloween Decor Tips

5 Minute Fashion: Winter Basics for a New Mom

Getting dressed always ends up being the last thing on my morning to-do list. After feeding the baby, pumping, taking care of the dog, attempting to feed myself (a.k.a coffee time) and getting everything ready for the day, there’s just not a lot of time left to think about what I am going to wear. Plus, I am running all over the place. So, I have to get ready in a look that works for work errands, meetings & photo shoots, and taking care of the baby. Quite the feat. Fall Capsule Wardrobe

Becoming a mom has definitely changed my style. I now have less time to try-on outfits and typically am getting ready during Ford’s first nap of the day, so am trying to super efficient.
