Year in Review: 2018

When I reflect on everything that happened in 2018, I was starting to carve out what my new life could be like. A life that was less focused on hustle and more on happiness. 2018 for me, was a year of finding myself. Of letting go of a lot of things in order to become the person I was meant to be. And even though it felt really scary and difficult as I was going through it, looking back, I was headed into the direction that was meant for me.

My Postpartum Struggles

I really went back and forth on whether or not I should write this post. On one hand, I’m all about being transparent in sharing my story, but sometimes I feel like my struggles can be insignificant in the grand scheme of things. And they totally are! I have a healthy baby and I am doing okay most of the time. 4 Month Baby Update

Creating a Bedtime Routine

You guys. If I am being honest, sleep has been the biggest struggle as a new mom. You never truly realize how wonderful a full night of uninterrupted sleep is until you have a baby. Am I right?

I just don’t think there is anything that can prepare you for the feeling of sleep deprivation. But I do think it’s possible to teach your baby to learn to sleep on their own and to love sleep. Fall Capsule Wardrobe

Becoming a mom has definitely changed my style. I now have less time to try-on outfits and typically am getting ready during Ford’s first nap of the day, so am trying to super efficient.
